There will be on-the-job training on various systems, this will start out with us gauging your experience level and grow from there slowly adding on more responsibility as you can handle it.
• Pulling, terminating, dressing, testing, and labeling CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, and Fiber data cables
• Installing and terminating racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, etc
• Reading and interpreting general system layouts from blueprints
• Installing devices including camera/CCTV systems, access control, and audio-visual
Qualifications
•Experience with the following or like manufacturers is preferred….DoorKing, LiftMaster, DSX, HySecurity, ICRealtime, Magnetic, Amano, HID, AWID, etc
•Neat appearance and professional demeanor
•Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers for common goals
•Organized and detailed
•Team player
•Ability to learn and desire for continuing training and education
•Ability to work on your feet in all weather conditions
•Ability to lift 50+ pounds
•Clean driving record
•Must pass a drug screening
Responsibilities
• First shift work
•Travel to customer sites within our territory to asses and service existing automated gate systems, access control systems, camera systems, and other low-voltage systems
•This position covers all aspects of the systems we service
•Running low-voltage and wire, wiring systems, testing systems, software, networking, establishing communications, etc
