Entry Level Plant Laborer

Midwest Pipe Coating, Inc., an applicator of powder and liquid coatings that has been in business since 1965, has immediate opportunities for full-time entry-Level Plant Laborers in our Paint department. These employees perform a variety of tasks while being led by experienced supervisors, and are expected to work under the company's four core values of:

Requirements

Candidates must have the ability to:

- Work in an industrial environment, both inside a production building as well as outside in various weather conditions.

- Use various power tools and hand tools.

- Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50 pounds

- Perform material handling duties such as loading/unloading conveyors and racks.

- Wear basic personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, hardhat, gloves, hearing protection, and a safety vest, which are provided by the company.

- Walk and/or stand on a continual basis.

- Use good verbal and written communication skills.

- Follow verbal and written directions.

- Tolerate wearing a half-mask respirator during operations throughout the shift

Work Shift

A typical shift is 8-10 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Evening and Saturday shifts sometimes required based on business demand. No swing shifts.

Education and Experience:

· Previous industrial paint and labor experience preferred, but not required.
