Growth is a critical component of our business plan, and we are currently looking for an Entry level Truck Technician to help us in that growth. This is a day shift M- F
Mechanic Job Duties
- This is an Entry Level position, developing and learning a skilled trade while working with Factory Trained/Certified Technicians.
- Entry level troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all types of trucks
- PM work, oil changes, lights, A/C, brakes, tire changes, basic tech work!
- Will train and grow Entry Level techs into full blown diesel techs
- Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all Heavy Duty components
- Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department and customers
- Keep paper work updated and handed in upon completion
Desired Skills and Qualities
- Technical degree or certification a plus
- Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them
- The desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product training
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
Position Requirements for Mechanics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A strong desire to learn and grow your technical skill set with Heavy Duty Trucks
- Be able to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
- Must have your own set of general tools
- Use computers for web based training and work order system
- Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions
