- Performing probabilistic risk assessments (PRA) and engineering analyses.
- Developing technical documentation to support the safe operation of nuclear power plants and other facilities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contributing to ongoing research and development initiatives in the field of risk assessment and plant operation.
- A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is required; preference will be given to candidates with a focus on Mechanical, Nuclear, Reliability, or Electrical Engineering. Graduate degrees in probability and statistics will also be considered.
- Prior experience in the power industry or with nuclear technology (e.g., U.S. Navy Nuclear Program) is advantageous.
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the use of Excel and/or Access database tools for data tracking and analysis in support of various risk analysis tasks.
- Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
