Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Support Equipment organization in St. Louis/St. Charles, MO is seeking a well-qualified Electronic & Electrical Technical Designer to support computing and test equipment solutions for multiple internal and external.
This position will have varied responsibilities, to include the maintenance, verification, upgrade and control for various property/equipment, software and data. The role also includes property, document, and risk management of equipment. This person will be active in system or software selloff/acceptance activities, property audits, equipment maintenance (including coordinating calibration activities with metrology), system troubleshooting and repair, and the maintenance and update of team documentation (desk instruction, internal development drawing controls, etc.).
Position Responsibilities:

  • Understands electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards for multiple customers
  • Validates engineering system design and functionality
  • Maintains and support various property and equipment
  • Assists with activities in support of Supplier Management, procurement, make/buy recommendations, and other technical services
  • Uses design tools to document and maintain configuration design control
  • Assists in the process of product installation and part designs ranging from simple to complex
  • Coordinates activities and products with cross-functional groups, internal partners and external suppliers
  • Coordinates engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product
  • Makes recommendations for test equipment procurement
  • Assists in the recommendation of technology insertion
  • Strong technical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members and work in a diverse team centric environment

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Associate's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficient, as well as common Web applications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with Materials Management and Inventory in relation to Government and Capital property
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering or a production environment
  • Aerospace related experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).
Relocation:
