COGS are assisting an industry leading expert in Electrical & Power Equipment Manufacturing. They are seeking an Entry LevelElectrical Engineer to join their growing team. Role overview:
COGS' Client is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join their team. Dive right into the world of electrical product design and development, gaining valuable mentorship from experienced engineers. This role offers a unique opportunity to accelerate your learning and become a key player in shaping innovative solutions. In this position, you'll support the lead of the product development team, driving the design of new products and enhancements to existing ones while ensuring alignment with scheduled milestones.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist senior engineers in designing new and improving existing electrical products.
- Learn and apply electrical circuit protection safety standards.
- Support with tasks like load calculations and data analysis.
- Gain experience with electrical and thermal simulation software.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Qualifications / Education / Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (or relevant field) is preferred.
- Eagerness to learn and strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in PC operation and willingness to learn new software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with electrical design software (this is a plus)
- Familiarity with circuit protection standards - UL, CSA, IEC, etc. (this is a plus)
