We are seeking an Entry LevelElectrical Engineer to join our Hollywood, FL office with 0-2 years of design experience. Projects may include Electric/Power Equipment, Emergency Generators, Lighting Improvement, etc. Responsibilities will include assessment, work scope development, creating construction documents, submittal review, coordination during construction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform field condition assessments to accurately document existing electrical equipment and systems and prepare technical reports of your findings
- Develop an accurate Scope of Work
- Prepare design calculations, riser diagrams, and equipment selections
- Coordinate work with fellow MEP/FP engineers and other consultants, architects, and/or disciplines
- Produce construction drawing documents and reports
- Manage budgets for assigned projects
- Produce detailed technical specifications and bid documents
- Regular travel throughout the Southeast Florida area is required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Electrical Engineering
- 0 to 2 years of electrical design experience
- Familiarity with local and national codes including National Electrical Code, Florida Building Code Electric, IEEE, and electrical equipment standards
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD

Pay: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
