Job Background:
Modular Water Systems seeks a Junior Engineer or Graduate Engineer who will serve as a member of the MWS Engineering Team and who will assist with developing and evolving the company’s engineering efforts while contributing to the company’s near-term growth plan. This full-time position will involve working in a team environment where you will collaborate with an experienced engineering and manufacturing team to design and fabricate custom water and wastewater treatment systems for commercial, municipal, and industrial customers. Job Duty Description:
- Full Time Employee working a typical 40-hour work week with occasional overtime
- Provide support in the development of MWS Products and Equipment Packages
- Assist the Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager in technical research of product components, unit design development, and vendor coordination
- Provide 3D Virtual Design and 2D Drafting Support relative to all aspects of equipment design and manufacturing
- Work closely with the MWS Production Engineer and support the Manufacturing Division with Equipment Modeling Design, Manufacturing Drawing generation (using 3D Models that export to 2D Drawings and CNC Tooling Files), and final Bills-of-Material
- Assist with implementation of modern engineering practices, technical design protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Travel occasionally to fabrication facilities and installation sites (less than 10% of the time)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental are preferred and Mechanical Engineers will be considered dependent upon academic focus and or work backgrounds).
- 0-2 years relevant, progressive experience in the civil/water/wastewater engineering field. Recent Graduates or spring 2023 graduate Engineering candidates will be given consideration.
- E.I.T. certification or ability to achieve certification within 12 months is desired.
- 3D Modeling and Design experience (Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, or similar parametric modeling software)
- Experience working with detailed Technical Drawings, Bills of Materials, Submittal Packages, Technical Specifications, etc. is preferred
- Must be highly organized and able to process and accomplished progressively complex technical tasks
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment and taking direction from superiors
- Must be independently motivated and able to work in a remote office environment

Compensation: $50,000 to $75,000 (Commensurate with degree, applicable experience, proven aptitude)
