Entry Level Civil Engineer

Overview

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an opportunity available for an entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our aviation group.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include developing plans and specifications, analyzing and preparing engineering reports, and construction cost estimates for various airport design projects; performing drafting tasks in AutoCAD and Civil3D to generate plan sheets; act as on-site project representative to observe, document and report construction progress to PM. Coordinate and assist with survey and materials testing.

Qualifications

This position will require you to travel to project sites which will require a valid drivers license, willingness to travel and work weekends and nights as needed.

 

 

The successful candidate must have the following:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering with coursework in transportation from an accredited four-year college or will have obtained this degree by start date.
• Passed Fundamentals Exam (EIT)
• AutoCAD and/or Civil3D Software Experience

 

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Materials testing experience
• Survey experience
• AGIS experience
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Transportation experience
