The anticipated wage for this position is between $20 and $27.45 Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Schedule: Start time 8:00 AM
Candidate will be expected to work in clean laboratory and growth chamber environments with plants, soil, and plant pathogens. Familiarity with sterile technique, culturing fungi and bacteria in vitro is desired but not necessary.
Responsibilities:
Will perform plant tissue culture tasks, inoculation with bacteria, sterile tissue transfer, transfer of plants to soil and data collection.
Responsibility also includes lab logistics support such as autoclaving, lab supplies preparation etc.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, cellular biology, biotechnology or related field is required.
Experience working in a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
Attention to detail, database experience, ability to work in a team setting, and strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Sterile technique experience is a plus.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.45 per hour
