Entry Level Automation Engineer

Greystone, a leading Tier II manufacturer for the automotive, medical, defense, and aerospace industries, is seeking an Entry Level Automation Engineer for our Lincoln, Rhode Island location. As part of our corporate automation team, you will gain exposure to all aspects of automation, from robotics to camera systems to proprietary plating systems. Responsibilities

• Help design the mechanical aspects of automation work cells
• Set up robotic cells to perform required tasks.
• Program HMIs to improve our operator's abilities to interact with the machines.
• Troubleshoot existing automated machines to keep them running smoothly
• Develop PLC programming talent
• Work on projects that will be implemented at all 3 Eastern United States locations and Poland locations.
• Some travel (<2%) may be required to help implement projects/support projects in VA.

Qualifications

• Passion for automation and a drive to learn.
• Entry-level understanding of automation processes and systems.
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to group projects
• B.S. in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering
• 0-3 Years of experience with Automation/Robotics/PLC programming
