We are on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative Controls/Automation Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and a chance to drive efficiency and productivity in our manufacturing processes. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automation systems and controls. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in PLC, Allen Bradley, Automation, RS Logix, Studio 5000, HMI, Machining, Precision, Electrical Design, Schematic, Control Panel, CAD, and SolidWorks. If you have a passion for automation and a keen eye for detail, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automated systems to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC systems, specifically with Allen Bradley, RS Logix, and Studio 5000.
• Design and create HMI interfaces to enhance user interaction with automated systems.
• Utilize CAD and SolidWorks to create detailed designs and schematics for control panels and other electrical components.
• Ensure all automation and control systems adhere to safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Maintain and update all technical documentation related to automation and control systems.
• Provide training and support to team members on the operation and maintenance of automated systems.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and identify areas of improvement.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in PLC programming - Ladder Logic experience required - Allen Bradley, Automation, RS Logix, Studio 5000, HMI, Machining, Precision, Electrical Design, Schematic, Control Panel, CAD, and SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and automation technology.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in automation technology.
