Position Title: Entry-Level Assembly Technician
Overview:
We are looking for a team player who likes to work with their hands and can utilize and grow their technical skills in a dynamic business.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing processes, with specific expertise in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of custom equipment. The Assembly technician will play a key role in ensuring the efficient production of custom equipment while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot custom equipment according to engineering specifications and customer requirements.
- Assemble and test equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to review technical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate assembly and functionality.
- Conduct functional testing and performance evaluation of custom equipment to verify proper operation and compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and manufacturing defects through systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Assist in developing and implementing manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, test results, and equipment configurations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling hazardous materials.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational excellence.
- All other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Certification in a relevant field is preferred; however, we will train the right person.
- Proven experience as a manufacturing technician or in a similar role, focusing on custom equipment assembly and testing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools, machinery, and equipment used in manufacturing settings.
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
