Summary:
The Manager, Entertainment Event Production will be responsible for managing all aspects of show presentation and event execution of Entertainment events across experiential cinema, immersive art and performance at Cosm Venues, at a corporate level. The Manager, Entertainment Event Production takes a key leadership role in the creative planning, operationalizing, and execution of Entertainment Events taking place in Cosm Venues. This role works very closely with stakeholders within Cosm Media, Venue Operations, Programming, Technology teams, and external vendors to plan and execute hundreds of events per year. The ideal candidate will have experience working in immersive entertainment production.
Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with Cosm Studios, lead operational run-of-show development and guest experience journey for all Cosm Studios events in Cosm Venues
- Collaborate closely with Venue Operations, Production Operations, Content Operations, Venue Operations, and Product to execute seamless events within Cosm Venues
- Responsible for show-by-show presentation playbook development for Product and Venue Operations (onboarding, offboarding, feature presentation and live elements.)
- Work with product to establish business requirements for Cosm’s show production tool (templates, graphics, etc.)
- Working with Cosm Studios Productions, set direction of creative requirements, on behalf of Cosm Media, for the Experience Design Team to execute specific events (visual backgrounds, motion graphics, etc.)
- Manage and handle internal communications with company leadership as well as external vendors and partners for clarity of deliverables, schedules, clearances, and budgets.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance the Entertainment Events experience.
- Some travel may be required.
- Minimum of eight years of experience as an events producer, line producer, and/or executive producer
- Proven experience creating compelling events and experiences.
- Experience working with immersive events, managing under pressure, whether cinema, art, performance, concerts, venues, experiential spaces, and events
- Experience in logistics management and forecasting skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven financial management skills with complex, multifaceted productions.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
