Job Summary
The Pirates Enterprise Systems play a key role in driving results and provide essential support to our overall business strategy. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic analyst to assist with the support of a broad portfolio of Enterprise Systems, with working technical knowledge of modern apps and the careful interplay between hardware/software that keeps systems running in an optimal fashion. The Enterprise Systems Analyst will be a caretaker of the Pirates' North Star and Compass and will be proactive in seeking out ways to exemplify them in their day-to-day work.
Responsibilities
Primary:
- Provision and manage access to a variety of systems, including cloud-based SaaS products and on-prem custom applications.
- Act as Tier 1 troubleshooting support for reported Enterprise Systems issues.
- Regularly patch and monitor Windows Server instances.
- Support development and troubleshooting in Microsoft Power Platform, including touchpoints with: M365 (including SharePoint/Teams), Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Work closely with primary users to ensure systems and technologies are performing as expected and capture issues. Report issues to Director, Enterprise Systems and participate in collaborative resolution.
- Assist with initiatives to meet various data compliance goals, including PCI, HIPAA, CCPA, GDPR, and others.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director, Enterprise Systems.
Secondary:
- Assists with administration and upkeep of Azure DevOps.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing future Enterprise Systems, including information gathering from the user base on pain points and desired features.
- Work with software vendors and service providers to conduct user training on Enterprise Systems. Identify training needs and plan and coordinate training as required.
- Apply basic networking concepts for troubleshooting purposes.
Position Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field.
- Familiarity with: low code platforms (especially Microsoft Power Platform), client-server architecture, software-as-a-service.
- Familiarity with systems administration concepts, including security rights and roles, least privilege, and regular maintenance.
- Familiarity with database concepts, SQL, and MS SQL Server.
Desired:
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform development and administration.
- Experience working with devops tools and working understanding of custom application code developed in .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, C++, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
