Enterprise Security Architect (Cloud)

Overview
This position is a member of the Information Security organization reporting to the Sr. Manager of the Enterprise Security Architecture Team in Global Security Engineering and Architecture. This leadership role will be responsible for conducting security reviews and assessments of solution architectures, providing security expertise, and acting as a security champion across business and information technology. This position requires expertise across multiple domains of Information Security with a key focus on cloud security and the ability to present clearly to various stakeholders and senior leadership across the organization.
Responsibilities
What will you work on:

• Lead information security efforts to support solution teams globally.
• Conduct technical Security Architecture reviews of solutions.
• Perform post-deployment Security Architecture validation for solutions deployed on PepsiCo infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud environment, E.g., Azure and AWS.
• Develop and maintain information security baselines for technologies in the organization, aligned to enterprise information security policy and standards, as well as industry benchmarks.
• Develop best practices and processes for Security Architecture governance and validation.
• Support the Senior Manager in mentoring the Security Architecture team.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in multiple information security areas.
• Serve as an Agile coach and culture champion and participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
• Determine, track, and monitor key metrics.
• Create and deliver leadership presentations.
• Work cross-functionally across Information Security, CTO, and other IT teams to drive security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 8-10 years of relevant Information Security leadership experience and hands-on Information Technology experience.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in the cloud environment, preferably Azure cloud.

Technical Skills

• Strong foundation in information security across multiple domains such as Network security, Identity and access management, Data Security, Encryption concepts, etc.
• Understanding of common security threats and mitigation controls
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and implementation.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud solution architecture and cloud security features
• Experience supporting security solutions deployed on-premises and on the cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure cloud.
• Experience reviewing and validating the Security Architecture of solutions deployed on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience conducting automated security assessments or evaluations, especially in the cloud environment

Non Technical Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Previous leadership experience in Security Architecture and engineering organizations.
• Experience working in an agile/lean engineering environment.
• Experience driving security-related change within a business.
• Certification in information security is desirable. E.g., CISSP, CCSP, CEH

Compensation and Benefits

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,700 - $ 165,150 based on a full-time schedule
• Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
