- ZAG Technical Services, a leading IT Managed Service Provider (MSP), is seeking an Enterprise Operations Specialist to support a prestigious client with complex on-premises and cloud infrastructure. With 24/7, 365 days a year international production operation, our client demands the highest level of IT support and operational excellence. As theEnterprise Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing the client’s IT infrastructure while ensuring seamless operations and world class customer service.
- Experience working at a management level (minimum 4 years) ideally within the Information Technology industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred, not required); MBA preferred
- Strong knowledge of on-premises and cloud technologies, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in virtualization, networking, and storage solutions.
- Experience with IT security and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional project management and organization skills
- Demonstrate leadership skills and the importance of good decision making
- Must have articulate, written and verbal business-level communication capabilities
- Experience and proficiency with driving continuous improvement strategies, i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
- Familiarity and certification with IT best practices such as ITILv4 is a plus.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
The Enterprise Operations Specialist will serve as a liaison between client IT leadership at the CIO/VP level and ZAG Management (Engineering, PMO, Architecture, Client Operations, Data Services) to deliver the following:
- Infrastructure Management:
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize the client's on-premises and cloud infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Collaborate with the client's internal IT teams and other stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
- Incident Response:
- Facilitate response to incidents, service requests, and outages promptly, ensuring maximum availability of IT systems to continuity of the client's operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues efficiently, addressing root cause to prevent future outages.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Continuously monitor the performance of the infrastructure and take proactive steps to address bottlenecks, improve system efficiency, and improve end user experience.
- Implement capacity planning and scalability solutions to accommodate the client's growth.
- Security and Compliance:
- Work closely with the client's security and compliance teams to ensure that all systems and data are protected and meet industry standards and regulations.
- Implement security best practices and recommend enhancements as necessary.
- Project Delivery:
- Collaborate with client and ZAG stakeholders to assure on time, on scope, and on budget IT infrastructure project delivery.
- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation of the client's IT infrastructure, configurations, and changes for reference and auditing purposes.
- Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and optimize service delivery.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains in the client's IT operations.
- Must be available to travel to client sites within North America
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
