Enterprise Architect

Seeking an enterprise/platform architect to join the Enterprise Architecture team. This individual will work with key members to balance and prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer-term strategic vision of the organization. Furthermore the enterprise/platform architect provides technology guidance, road maps, principles, standards, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direction and guidance for IT Platform architecture in alignment with IT and business strategy.
• Review and establish metrics to improve existing business processes, supporting various architectural disciplines.
• Lead highly complex projects requiring deep knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains.
• Align architecture strategy with business objectives, define technology strategy, and communicate architectural policies and standards.
• Document data architecture, maintain a comprehensive view of data landscape, and ensure alignment with relational data structures and meta data management practices.

Skills Required:

• Experience in technical, substantive and methodological issues related to design architecture for new or emerging solutions and technologies.
• Experience in defining enterprise metadata standards and an enterprise taxonomy
• Experience with various aspects of Enterprise Architecture with knowledge of one or more formalized frameworks such as NASCIO, TOGAF, FEAF
• Experience applying application/software/systems development methodologies including agile approaches
• IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning
• Experience with Esri's GIS tools and platforms
• Experience in cloud application (Azure/AWS) /GIS architecture
• experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) architecture
• Competency with XML constructs and schemas. experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST
• Partner with architects, other technical team members and to develop roadmaps and strategies to support agency KPIs
• Create overall application and solution architectures, component designs, and systems integration and implementations for a particular business sols
• Strong understanding of relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices. Strong familiarity with metadata management and associated
• Document the data architecture and environment in order to maintain a current and accurate view of the larger data picture

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $80.00 - $110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
