Team (Project) Introduction
The Office of Performance Analysis and Integrity manages and enhances the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) which resides on one Oracle M8 Supercluster database and thirteen application servers. Our team provides the technical services required to sustain EDW applications to include Project Management, Data Warehouse Management, Advanced Analytics, Tableau Server Administration/Tableau Desktop Administration, Technical Collaboration Support, Lessons Learned, Executive Orders and Special Projects, Architectural Enhancement, and Cloud Migration. We also provide management, enhancement, integration, implementation, maintenance, modernization, and infrastructure support for EDW applications as well as enhancement and maintenance of business intelligence capabilities and predictive analytics.
9th Way Insignia is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join this team. This position is contingent upon award from the government.

Functional Job (LCAT) Information
Extensive experience in design and development of IT architecture. Experience must include a wide range of work in creating diagrams and documentation with all components that comprise IT systems including network topology.
Responsibilities
• Utilization of tools such as Oracle 19c, Informatica PowerCenter, IBM Infosphere Data Architect, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
• Maintain data models and produce various reports.
• Provide expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and its principles towards stability and high availability.
• Oversee a robust O&M practice for a large data warehouse.
• Implement Change and Configuration Management best practices towards application and delivery.
• Advise on Disaster Recovery and COOP procedures - implement robust failover procedures.
• Provide expertise in SAS administration services for the SAS Linux platform, including performance tuning, monitoring and security.
• Support Business Intelligence tasks, including reporting, ad hoc and recurring reports, and data structuring for OBIEE, Tableau, and Power BI
• Provide expertise in data cleansing, modeling, visualization and meta data management. Be responsible for a creation of a common data taxonomy.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred), or equivalent experience• Extensive experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in relevant software and technologies, including Oracle, Informatica, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, and metadata tools.
• Strong project management and change management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of security standards and compliance, including Section 508.
• Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements.
• Prior experience in a federal data warehouse and understanding of government procedures and regulations is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $124,674 – 165,500
