Enrollment Specialist

We Are Seeking:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Enrollment Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Enrollment Specialist, you will be responsible for building upon the vision for the College and play a key role in empowering tomorrow’s business and technology leaders to positively impact and change the world! The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to outstanding customer service and a passion for Educational Services.


Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruit and enroll new undergraduate and graduate students by implementing and executing on an enrollment strategy using a “high touch, high energy” engagement approach.
  • Consistently and accurately utilize the department CRM to timely record and store communications, records and relevant notes.
  • Provide exceptional enrollment counseling on programs that are an ideal fit for prospective students, inspiring them by sharing the vision, career possibilities and future opportunities that a Walsh College degree makes possible for them.
  • Develop phenomenal knowledge of the Walsh College portfolio of degrees, certificates, and other programs.
  • Enthusiastically represent Walsh College at admission and recruitment events.
  • Communicate the value of earning a Walsh College degree.
  • Make the student experience as smooth as possible by clearly communicating admissions requirements, including transfer policies and course equivalencies, to prospective students. Possess a “make it better” attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile to implement new ideas.
  • Create a welcome and friendly culture for all who attend Walsh College.
  • Possess a strong orientation around results and exceeding goals.
  • Assist with keeping departmental training materials outstanding and up to date.
  • Be a part of a team that loves what they do and are accountable for meeting team goals and key performance indicators.

Your Qualifications Include:

  • In possession of a bachelor’s degree and possibly a graduate degree because you believe so deeply in the immeasurable value of higher education.
  • Someone who thrives on being highly organized.
  • Outstanding at follow-through and execution. You cannot leave a task unfinished and you always follow-up on emails, calls, messages and tasks ASAP.
  • Have relevant professional experience in sales or in a sales-focused environment.
  • A master of time management and understand what your priorities are and how to manage them effectively.
  • Solution-oriented and driven to help students succeed; reframes problems as opportunities.
  • Strong with computer skills, including CRM and Microsoft Office experience.
  • An excellent communicator (written, oral, electronic)
  • Able to maintain a schedule that accommodates the needs of our students.
  • Able to perform remote work, as needed (stable Internet access is required).

30-Day Goals:

  • Understand internal departmental roles, systems, responsibilities, and be able to effectively identify certain departments for concerns/questions.
  • To complete an onboarding process, which includes a thorough understanding of the CRM, other internal systems and general processes and procedures.
  • Begin team sales training – complete weekly assignments.

60-Day Goals:

  • Actively partake in all team meetings, trainings, and to contribute with new ideas/perspectives.
  • Understand enrollment function, result metrics, goals/individual goals and begin contributing to overall enrollment numbers.
  • Effectively manage sales funnel – formulate a process for outreach/follow-up.

90-Day Goals:

  • Sustainability – able to complete all functions and duties of the position independently.
  • Experience growth with enrollment results.
  • Be able to deliver an unforgettable student onboarding experience, with the knowledge of Walsh College programs, courses, and policies.
