Base Pay Range: $23.40 - $34.20 per hour based on pursuit of a Bachelors and Masters

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for a summer intern to join us who will support projects within the Engineering Technology Group.
Core Responsibilities:

• Creating and testing prototypes for Engineering and R&D groups.
• Hands-on person. Open to a variety of hands-on testing and assembly projects.
• Support engineering activities related to creation and testing of prototype systems. This includes the design, test, check-out, modification, and assembly of prototype modules and systems.
• Troubleshooting, correcting, reworking, and maintaining test fixtures and prototype systems.
• Perform tests, fault isolation and feedback root causes of issues on engineering designs.
• Set-up fixtures and run wet-test experiments to determine material compatibility to chemicals.
• Assist in the design, construction, test and check-down of production test equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in either Material Science Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Study in Optics or Spectrophotometry and Micro-fluidics and Precision Fluidic Dispence technologies is helpful, but not required.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, block-diagram level schematics, assemble prototypes, implement tests, and record results.
• Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint to write procedures and document test results
• Work within Mechanical CAD environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as an integral part of a project team
