As a Reliability lab technician you will work with Teradyne's reliability engineering team implementing their world class reliability program and learn to setup and run reliability tests to evaluate component and system reliability, perform reliability failure analysis methodologies like cross sectioning, optical microscopy, x-ray imaging and x-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF)
The Reliability Lab Technician is responsible for setting up and executing testing of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical parts and assemblies as well as debugging and trouble shooting. The findings and results must be documented and communicated in a timely manner.
- Experience in electronics technology
- Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, soldering and repair
- Experience with mechanical assembly
- Hands on experience with cables, connectors, PCBs
- Goal and results-oriented, assertive, and hardworking
- Proficiency with computer tools such as Microsoft Office and comfort with basic programming
- Knowledge of Analog Circuitry
- Knowledge with plotting data using Excel and writing reports with Word
- Experience using test equipment, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, and digital multimeters, power supplies
- Ability to read technical instructions, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams and BOM's to setup reliability tests.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of C / C+, java, Arduino
Associates Technical Degree in Electronics or relevant experience
