Intern - Engineering, Landscape Architect

Location - Omaha, NE

Be the Legacy is an internship program and a valuable opportunity for individuals to gain practical work experience in the AEC field. Offering students, the chance to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world situations, providing a bridge between academic learning and professional practice. What you need:
• Current student at an accredited college or university in a civil, environmental, construction engineering or Landscape Architect program.
• Ability to work with a team of unique personalities and professional styles.
• Ability to perform self-motivated work, as well as collaborate and contribute to a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

You bring to the team:
• Pursuing a degree in engineering or Landscape Architecture.
• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
• Apply standard engineering or Landscape Architectural techniques and procedures.
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Passion for public works projects.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
