KBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced, exciting environment as a Reliability and Maintainability Engineering Technician IV - Reliability & Maintenanceat NAS Patuxent River, MD.
This is an SCA Position 30084.
In this role, you will...

• Support the Government's leadership in executing complex tasks, such as monitoring all maintenance actions on the ALQ 249 NGJ pods to ensure all Reliability & Maintainability requirements are met.
• Apply engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament/ordnance, or related data processing systems for military weapon systems or associated support equipment or components.
• Review, analyze, develop, prepare, or apply engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures.
• Organize, analyze, and prepare reports or presentations of technical data and information.
• Plan and perform tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components.
• Compile, process, reduce, or analyze test data results.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
Security Clearance: active/current TopSecret OR able to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
Experience (No allowable substitution):

• At least 3 years of experience in general or practical experience in aircraft, weapons systems, or aircraft support equipment
• Experience with aircraft and flight data collection and analysis
• Experience with Reliability & Maintainability maintenance actions and management systems
• Experience preparing reports or presentations of technical data and information to be used in evaluations of aircraft performance

Education:

• High School diploma or GED
• AND
• Completion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments, ordnance, or engineering technology; or completion of at least 30 semester hours of course studies at an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum.
