Engineering Technicians within the Test Systems Engineering team work side by side with Engineers to support the development of our world class drive units and energy products. Projects can be open-ended and the individual must strive in a challenging environment. Must be a self-starter and able to figure out how to do things independently.
- Execute motor and drive unit testing on in-house dynamometers
- Support R&D Engineering with custom test configurations
- Focus on continuous improvement and 5S practices
- Troubleshoot and debug electromechanical test setups
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude – ability to take things apart and reassemble them without instructions
- Strong communication abilities – able to effectively relay information to different people from direct colleagues to engineers and managers
- Knowledge of basic hand tools, fabrication a plus
- Knowledge of electrical skills: basic wiring ability, connecting sensors & power supplies, soldering, using a DMM
- Detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills including Microsoft office and project management tools like JIRA / Confluence
- Understanding of electrical and rotating equipment hazards (LOTO, HV Training)
- Passionate about electric motors and sustainable energy

$24.00 - $65.00/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
