This is how you will grow:
We are looking for a hands-on technician, who will oversee a automotive testing lab containing multiple workstations. The Engineering Technician will be responsible for ensuring the workstations are functioning properly, and troubleshooting any issues to maintain a consistent testing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee automotive testing lab
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise quickly to maintain consistent work environment
- Hands on work at testing stations when needed
- Respond to engineer request during testing
- Perform electrical system bench / vehicle tests and provide analysis on issues found.
This is how you will take us forward:
- 3 plus years of experience in an automotive EE systems / mechanical component engineering, technician role.
- Experience within a testing lab environment
- Familiarity with automotive (OEM) specifications and standards a plus
- Familiar with HV test provers preferred
- Familiar with Engineering Diagnostic Tools.
- Ensure effective communication, containment and action plans with regards to quality related issues.
- Support effective root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions are implemented for quality issues
