FOX Factory designs, engineers, manufactures and markets performance-defining products and systems for customers worldwide. Our premium brand, performance-defining products and systems are used primarily on bicycles, side-by-side vehicles, on-road vehicles with and without off-road capabilities, off-road vehicles and trucks, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, specialty vehicles and applications, motorcycles, and commercial trucks. Position Summary:
Apply building expertise to generate industry leading prototype products for our customers. Responsibilities are expected to increase from lab builder to providing engineering support in the field. Will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous internal and external teams to meet deadlines.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Assist Ride Engineers with tuning preparation in advance of a tuning trip
  • Assist Ride Engineers with field tuning technician work with both internal and external FOX customers
  • Schedule and perform Trailer/Fleet maintenance to ensure smooth and consistent field operations
  • Restock tuning trailers with all consumables, spare parts, and tools
  • Assist with on vehicle data acquisition setup and maintenance in the field
  • Continuously improve field tuning efficiency with the addition of new tools, refined shock building methods, and trailer improvements
  • Assume safety coordinator role in the Ride Engineering department (Work with EHS to keep trailers stocked with safety items, PPE, trauma kits, etc.)
  • Drive off road chase vehicles safely during field testing events
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
  • Manual lathe, mill, welding, fabrication experience.
  • Ability to learn and understand data acquisition and data analysis.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Shock dyno operation experience.
  • Off road driving and vehicle recovery experience.
  • Computer competency using Microsoft Office.
  • Travel is required.

Position Qualifications:
Education:
HS graduate or equivalent
AA degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
Experience:
3+ years of automotive shock absorber prototyping or similar experience.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing Environment
Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
Travel required 4 weeks/quarter

Compensation Range
$73,390 - $100,911
The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Fox reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
