Engineering & Quality Leader-Industrial Construction

Koch Specialty Plant Solutions , a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking an Engineering & Quality Leader! The ideal candidate will have an industrial construction background across multi-disciplinary projects with emphasis on specialty welding and piping. The role is responsible for the Engineering team (awarded construction projects and estimating support) and leadership of our Quality Program. The ideal candidate demonstrates ASME B31 Code expertise, regulatory and Quality program knowledge, and possesses a drive for successful project execution. What You Will Do

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and transformation. Encourage innovation and efficiency in design and construction processes.
• Lead, mentor, and manage Engineering, Quality and Design departments.
• Responsibility and leadership over all KSPS Quality Program.
• Manage engineering assignments, allocate resources, monitor progress on engineering deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with all KES teams to support best-in-class project execution.
• Partner and collaborate with KSPS Director of Technical Services to ensure alignment on organizational strategies.
• Provide guidance and oversight on construction methodologies, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and customer specifications.
• Proactively identify risks and issues with project designs and execution and develop mitigation strategies.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience in heavy industrial construction
• Experience with refining/petrochemical plant turnarounds
• Knowledge of ASME B31 codes
• Knowledge of Quality Program development and administration
• Knowledge of welding processes
• Inter-office and jobsite travel as needed

What Will Put You Ahead

• 5+ years of construction leadership experience
• 8+ years of experience in heavy industrial construction
• Experience in a mechanical field or related discipline (vocational or technical degree)
• Advanced knowledge of ASME B31 codes (design, materials, fabrication, inspection, testing, documentation).
• ASME Section VIII knowledge
• Flange and joint design knowledge
• Welding and fabrication knowledge
• Thermal expansion and stress relief knowledge
• Experience with combustion and vapor control equipment
• Project management experience
