Job description

In this position you will be defining the strategy and structure of the platform and configuration BOMs during engineering development, production, and sustaining support. Coordinate of ECO process, ongoing change management and lifecycle phase management. Support and facilitate training to Users for general use of the tools and to facilitate the up to date of the materials used by the organization. You'll work with cross-functional partners as: Engineering Project Managers, Worldwide Product Configuration Management, Finance, Operations. The individual will require influencing process improvements and tool development in support of the team, lead change management across users of new processes and systems. The Engineering Product Specialist will identify improvement opportunities in the product lifecycle management process and current reporting capabilities, identify KPI’s (SLA’s) and reports valuable for the Teams in order to facilitate decisions and also to decrease workload with the automation of reports.

Request

  • 3+ years of work experience in supply chain management with emphasis on functional roles in supply planning, inventory management and procurement.
  • Previous experience structuring BOMs and AVLs from an PCA through fully integrated Rack.
  • Ability to understand configuration management and structure / build multi-level product BOMs.
  • Familiar with components and structure of a server platform.
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience (TeamCenter, AgilePLM, SAP, aDB, etc.)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing, organizing and maintaining large quantities of data and work on many projects at a time.
  • Document control, drive standard methodologies through documentation control policies and procedures across functions.
  • Ability to influence, passionately communicate and drive deadlines with other internal Teams and vendors.
  • Expertise in Excel, Numbers, Minitab or similar spreadsheet tools.
  • Expertise in SQL, Tableau, BusinessObjects or similar data visualization tools.
  • Experience planning in an ERP/MRP system, preferably SAP and/or Oracle.
  • Flexibility with the skill to anticipate and react to changes in a multifaceted environment.
  • Excellent understanding of reporting and finance structures and the data behind it to provide reporting/summaries that facilitates to make decisions.
