SalaryStructural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SI) is accepting applications for Engineering Interns to join our team this summer. The internship program will run from approximately June through September, with possibility for part-time work starting earlier in the spring and extending through the fall semesters. This is an onsite internship in our San Jose, CA office.
What You'll Do:
- Analysis of nuclear power plant structures
- Support software design and development
- Develop skills in fracture, fatigue, and stress analyses
- Strengthen your knowledge of engineering fundamentals
Who You Are:
- Junior/Senior working toward a BS or MS in Mechanical, Nuclear, Aerospace Engineering or similar discipline
- Excellent communicator (oral and written) with high attention to detail
- Intellectually curious with high ambition and a strong work ethic
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and programming languages preferred
- Basic coursework in fracture mechanics and finite element modeling are preferred
