The successful candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or Electrical Engineering, undergraduate or graduate. The candidate is familiar with computer computer architecture, operating systems, data structures and algorithms, and is comfortable developing device drivers in C software for embedded systems The highly motivated candidate will work well independently as well as in a team. In this role, the candidate must be proactive, forward thinking What you will do:
- Battery Management System Computer driver development and integration to application
- Develop test procedures
- Automate test with python scripts
- Work closely with BMS hardware team for software and hardware integration
- Get hands-on experience with industry technology related to electric propulsion and energy storage.
- Programing languages: C, Python
- Computer architecture
- Real Time Operating Systems
- Data structures and algorithms
- Any of serial, SPI, or I2C driver experience
- Schematic reading and interpretation
- IDE, debugger
- Software configuration management tools such as Git or similar
Hourly rate will be $20 USD an hour.
This internship role will be based at Wisk's headquarters in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.
