Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Looking for a dynamic individual to participate on the El Paso, TX Receiving Inspection team and will be actively involved in the day-to-day functions of the Material Validation - Receiving Inspection team. You will be responsible for the identification of non-conformances of incoming material received at the Raytheon El Paso, TX Facility. You will be responsible for inspecting material at incoming inspection per specific instructions, drawings, or other documentation.
The candidate will be required to present to the workgroup daily plans and accomplishments. The ideal candidate will be required to communicate findings to the Material Verification and Control Analysts/Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers, as well as MVC management. You will input defects for both Hardware and Documentation issues into the Quality Notifications (QN) System. The individual will apply and maintain quality standards for processing material to ensure compliant material is delivered to the Program and the Final Customer.
Required Skills:
- Minimum high school diploma and/or a GED along with a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Previous experience in the review and interpretation of technical engineering drawings
- Previous inspection experience to include one of the following:
- Electrical Inspection
- Hardware Inspection
- Mechanical Inspection
- Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Possess interpersonal skills that support broad influence and interaction with suppliers, engineering personnel and managers
- Experience with standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
- Previous experience working alongside the Quality Engineering team and other manufacturing personnel
- Effective written and verbal communication skills that allow for proper and precise result descriptions
- Experience with cPDM, company repository of technical drawings
- Experience with MIL-standards
- Knowledge of Six Sigma
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Working knowledge of PRISM / SAP
- Analytical, problem solving, and business communication skills
- Participate in cause and corrective actions to alleviate production difficulties

The salary range for this role is 36,000 USD - 72,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
