- Responsible for investigating customer complaints regarding product quality and defects. Provide analysis and recommendations for counter measures to eliminate future occurrences. Implement countermeasures including changing documentation
- Responsible for participating on cross-functional teams to implement approved countermeasures. Works with manufacturing, engineering and associates to insure effectiveness and compliance with approved countermeasures.
- Responsible for analyzing returned parts by a variety of tests to determine root cause of defect and reporting on failure analysis.
- Responsible for attendance and participate in New Product Development (NPD) meetings as it relates to QC mass production functions.
- Supports Production Engineering to establish standard documentation, process diagrams, FMEA, Process flow charts, trial reports, engineering changes, process changes and other documentation as needed to maintain compliance with quality management system and customer requirements.
- Responsible for assisting in control plan revision documentation and Engineering change notice documentation to include participating in scheduled meetings, supporting consensus and documenting agreements.
- Champion the product quality for assigned product / customer as directed. Responsible for assisting in hosting customer for all on-site visits and travelling to the customer location to fulfil the specific functions of this position.
