The Standards Engineer I position has the opportunity to develop into an Engineer II, Engineer III or a Senior Engineer position based on your experience level. General Description:
The Standards Engineer I will apply novice engineering skills and judgment in the performance of entry-level engineering for the development and maintenance of the District's construction, material, and engineering design standards. Many of the duties of the Engineer I are intended to develop engineering skills and judgment. The technical work for which an Engineer I is responsible will normally be under the supervision of more senior engineers and Managers.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate engineering discipline. An equivalent of education and experience may be qualifying.
- Completion of an electrical utility internship
- Successful completion of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is preferred.

- Work is performed in the office Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Remote work is not available for this position.
