Guild is hiring for an Engagement Manager, Employer Partner Services (Healthcare) to play a central role in Guild's mission by building and maintaining positive relationships with current and new Fortune 1000 employers. In this role, you'll develop an intimate understanding of the strategic needs of our Employer Partners in order to help them meet their talent objectives, unlock opportunities for their workforce, and deliver a strong return on investment.

Guild operates on the cutting edge of the Future of Work, partnering with the United States' largest companies to innovate on how to educate and upskill millions of employees. These employers span industries, with a particular focus on employers with large populations of frontline employees, including Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Restaurants, and Telecommunications. The Employer Partner Services team is specifically focused on owning these employer relationships. Using a mix of strategic consulting, customer success and commercial orientation, the team manages and grows these large, strategic client relationships to enhance the impact of the program for both employers and employees.

As an Engagement Manager on the Employer Partner Services team, your core responsibilities will be:

  • Establish and develop long-term strategic relationships with current and new Employer Partners, identifying their unique needs and how they can best be served by Guild's current and future offerings
  • Translate employer needs into account strategies, outlining clear roadmaps for success across Guild's commercial outcomes, the employer's strategic initiatives, and their employee's educational and career goals
  • Work or lead cross-functionally to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of comprehensive sets of employer services
  • Manage key work-streams to ensure Employer Partners efficiently implement and grow their use of Guild offerings
  • Earn trust and increase client satisfaction through partnership support, insights, and critical initiative execution
  • Mentor and advise junior team members in day-to-day account operations, deliverable development, written and verbal communications, and project management
  • Contribute to the team culture of collaboration, dedication, curiosity, empathy, and trust

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • Knowledge and understanding of how to develop strong trust-based relationships balancing confidence, humility, and diplomacy at across a variety of roles / levels in an organization
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills (including with senior external audiences) with the ability to synthesize information and deliver strong story-telling
  • Strong organization and project management skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to keep track of both the high level progress and the small details
  • Self-directed ownership of work, including structuring data-driven analysis, prioritizing workstreams, and managing deadlines
  • Experience engaging cross-functionally with a broad range of internal and external partners
  • Strong competence working with slide presentations and spreadsheets in G Suite or Microsoft Office
  • Experience in B2B style partnerships, preferably at an organization where high-touch, long-term relationships were essential to the business' success
  • A drive to work hard and a plan for how you can refresh/recharge while working in a startup

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $130,000-$160,000, as well as company stock options.
