Engagement Manager

Position Title: Engagement Director

Location: Remote

Position Overview: Indev is seeking a proven Engagement Manager to join one of our federal projects supporting our federal practice in the Washington DC area. In this position, you will play a critical role in leading client engagements, building strong relationships, and driving business growth. This position requires a combination of business acumen, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of client needs to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead and manage client engagements from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers, to understand their business needs and challenges.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, delivery, and operations, to develop tailored solutions that address client requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for clients, offering strategic insights and recommendations to drive business success.
• Create and deploy streamlined sales methodologies to optimize pipeline efficiency.
• Monitor project performance and financial metrics and take proactive measures to address issues and risks.
• Stay current with industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities for business growth.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in software delivery and client management
• 5+ years of experience as an Engagement Director, Account Manager, professional services consultant, or similar role in a client-facing environment
• 5+ years of experience maintaining client relationships as the primary owner and point of contact
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior executives
• Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
• Previous experience working in a fully remote environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
