ENERGY WAREHOUSE AND DELIVERY ASSOCIATE

Position Summary: The primary responsibilities of this role include: promoting the sale of our oil and lubricant products, delivering customer orders in a cost effective, safe and timely manner, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining our WAREHOUSE AND product inventory by receiving incoming deliveries and processing orders. This person must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to high standards of providing outstanding customer service, problem solving and inventory management.

Essential Functions: (The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following)

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential customers.
• Introduce new products, programs, and services.
• Make sound recommendations regarding oil and lubricants products.
• Maintain delivery schedules for current accounts.
• Become familiar with customer operations to anticipate future needs and expectations.
• Represent yourself as a subject matter expert and problem solver to provide value added solutions.
• Resolve customer complaints efficiently while maintaining open communication with other team members.
• Always project a positive attitude and image to customers, business partners and employees.
• Inform all customers of safe product handling.
• Process and prepare orders by pulling and loading products; may include operation of a hand truck, pallet jack and forklift on a regular basis.
• Verify purchased products and enter order receipts into ERP system.
• Completes reports by entering required information into ERP system.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping WAREHOUSE AND work areas neat and orderly.
• Safely transport, unload, and deliver accurate and quality oil and lubricant orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck AND DELIVERY equipment to maintain reliable, professional-looking delivery vehicle.
• Maintain safety materials, organized on truck to simplify future delivery process, and report all safety defects to appropriate personnel immediately.
• Provide backup for other Energy staff as needed.
• Demonstrate a commitment to doing what's right, a solid work ethic, a strong sense of ownership, a passion for agriculture, and genuine respect for others.
• Model and practice safe behavior while following all safety policies
• Observe and enforce all company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Excellent, effective communication skills including oral, written and presentation form
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with an ability to inspire trust and respect
• Assertive, approachable, tactful and possesses an ability to build strong business relationships
• Ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment
• Commitment to excellence; providing outstanding customer service; problem solving and managing difficult customer situations

• Excellent organizational skills including detail oriented, multi-tasking, planning, and prioritizing

• Experience understanding customers' unique problems and determining the best fit for their needs
• Understands and actively works with basic math and business concepts (budgets, profit margins and revenue)
• Good computer skills with the ability to learn other key operational computer programs.
• Previous inventory experience, equipment maintenance and forklift certified.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Must comply with current driver qualification requirements, our Drug and Alcohol Policy and DOT regulations.
• Maintain or open to obtaining Class B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements and medical card.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of warehouse experience
• Prior experience in a sales environment utilizing energy related products and services.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk; must be able to read and write English; must be able to regularly use a phone and computer/keyboard; must be able to see and hear; and must be able to drive/travel to other locations as needed; must be able to regularly climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch; Must be able to regularly push, pull, lift and carry items weighing up to 75 lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to machinery and moving parts, airborne particles including grain dust and hazardous materials or fumes, which will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The employee is exposed to adverse weather conditions, high, precarious places and confined spaces. The noise level in some of the work environments may require the use of hearing protection. While performing the duties of this job inside the office, the employee is frequently exposed to normal working conditions for an office environment with a noise level that is usually low to moderate.
