Form of workWhat you’ll do:
Complete review and analysis of all Landlord utilities for spikes to remediate and track leaks and other high usage issues.
Collaborate with utility providers to resolve billing and consumption issues.
Work closely with property managers, accounting, and asset management to troubleshoot utility disputes and other collections related utility items.
Monitor utilities in Landlords name to reduce instances of vacancy and tenant bill back utility accounts.
Review all Utility Bonds to determine necessity and work with surety provider to cancel unneeded bonds.
Collaborate with Utility Manager and Energy Analyst on tasks related to the tracking and data analysis of sustainability and energy efficiency programs.

What we’re looking for:
- A current undergraduate who can work full-time and in person during the semester.
- A current university student with interest in real estate and/or sustainability and energy efficiency.
- Computer and technical skills including a high level of competency in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A strong proficiency in excel is preferred for the role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface professionally. with associates at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize.
- Positive attitude and ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
