As an Energy Processor, our successful team members perform in a variety of exciting areas geared to deliver an exceptional customer experience within ICF’s commercial energy business. Our dedicated energy team delivers an exceptional customer experience through prompt and accurate processing of energy efficiency applications and providing overall customer service in a specialized and technical environment. Our work includes detailed reviews of energy incentive applications for eligibility, finalization of energy applications and resultant payments, inbound and outbound support for applicants and program participants via phone and online chat, and other types of back-office processing support for our utility clients and their customers. The daily work for this position requires a strong ability to focus on incoming and repetitive data, while maintaining careful attention to detail.

Our team members are highly trained, customer-oriented professionals who are eager to continue learning and building their expertise within the unique area of energy efficiency customer support.
What you will be doing:
Work as part of the energy efficiency team ensuring that the verification of utility sponsored energy efficiency projects are successfully executed.
Review project application forms and submittals by customers, contractors, engineers/consultants, and other program participants in order to ascertain compliance with program policies and procedures.
Interface with customers and contractors participating in utility sponsored programs.
Process paperwork for program incentive payments per established policies and procedures.
Ability to apply detailed program knowledge of specified utilities for tier 1 and tier 2 desktop review.
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
What we would like you to have:
- 1+ years of experience in the trades (lighting and HVAC) strongly preferred
- Electrical or HVAC contracting
- Knowledge of energy efficient technologies and practices related to lighting, motors, HVAC systems, commercial or residential building energy technologies or experience in the building trades is a plus.
- Prior experience or a strong interest in energy efficiency is a plus!
