The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting our physicians and promoting quality patient care during endoscopic procedures primarily EGD, Flex sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy and Ileoscopy with occasional capsule endoscopy and BRAVO. This role is also responsible for disinfecting/reprocessing endoscopes and accessories according to policy and procedures consistent with the philosophy of the Center for Digestive Health. Previous tech experience is preferred, but certainly willing to train the right candidate. This role involves talking with patients and communicating with nurses and physician any issues or concerns patients may need addressed. The right candidate should possess a strong teamwork mentality. Flexibility, positivity and a good sense of humor is appreciated. Candidates should be able to stand, ben, twist and lift for long periods and be able to help reposition patients with assistance. Position hours rotating between 6:30am-4:30pm and 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 4 days a week. Shifts are 10 hours with paid lunch. No nights, weekends, holidays or call.
