WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Assist with cleaning, stocking, and maintaining supplies and equipment.
- Assist with the management of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) program.
- Communicate and act as a liaison between the patient, family physician, and other agencies as required.
- Perform Basic and Advanced Life Support pre-hospital assessment and care.
- Perform tasks in the pre-hospital setting under the control of the Medical Director.
- Provide orderly transfer of patient care to receiving facility staff.
- Responsible for assigned ambulance, equipment, and supplies during a shift, as well as security of all equipment and supplies, including but not limited to scheduled and non-scheduled medications.
Qualifications
- Required Certificate
- Required High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years Working as a paramedic Preferred
- 3 years Driving Experience Preferred
- Licensed Paramedic (PARA)
- Drivers License
- Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
