PART-TIME REMOTE EMPLOYMENT LAW PARALEGAL NEEDED (10+ hours/week)

Employment Law Paralegal needed to support a busy practice in New York (flexible hours). The focus of the firm is to develop and maintain long-term client partnerships through the creation of an exceptional client experience, in a culture oriented law firm. A polished, detail-oriented, highly responsive, proactive paralegal with a positive attitude is a must. Experience in Employment Law, Litigation, Discrimination and ADA Accessibility defense is required, as well as the below qualifications. This is a remote position.

Experience and Hard Skills:

• Litigation experience, REQUIRED;
• Experience working with Electronic Filing Systems, REQUIRED;
• Client Intake experience, REQUIRED;
• Federal Court experience, PREFERRED;
• Experience managing deadlines and calendars with precision;
• Experience billing time;
• Experience with preparing documents and motions, production of discovery, bates stamping, preparing client meetings, indexing exhibits, researching;
• Able to offer suggestions to improve efficiencies and automate processes;
• Solid understanding of case flow;
• Does not need to reside in New York, but New York law experience is REQUIRED

Technology:

• PC, REQUIRED;
• Experienced user of Microsoft programs, REQUIRED;
• Experience with Leap software, REQUIRED.

Education:

• High school or equivalent, REQUIRED
• Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, PREFERRED (many years of experience will be considered)
