Employment Counsel

Intapp is looking for an Employment Counsel in our Charlotte, NC office. This role is for an individual contributor who will be Intapp's lead in-house Employment Counsel reporting directly to the General Counsel.
What you will do:

• Draft and maintain form employment documentation (offer letters, employee confidentiality agreements, etc.)
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of employee separation agreements
• Counsel HR, payroll and business stakeholders on garnishments, leave requests, ADA accommodation requests and other employee requests
• Manage employment litigation and lead or assist in HR-related investigations
• Counsel recruitment and HR stakeholders on hiring and terminations in multiple U.S. states
• Coordinate with outside immigration counsel and HR on VISA applications and requests
• Counsel Intapp's benefits team on benefits policies (PTO, sick, etc.) and engagement of benefits vendors (health insurance providers, commuter plans, etc.)
• Liaise with international Employment Counsel on various issues relating to Intapp's international offices and staff
• Assist in employment diligence for M&A opportunities

What you will need:

• Minimum 7 years of experience. Attorney (bar member in good standing)
• Mix of law firm and in-house legal department experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of employment-related regulations
• Experience counseling business with international staff - experience with any of the United Kingdom/EU, Singapore, Australia a plus
• Proven ability to identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and independently
• Practically minded with a sense of urgency to get things done
• Effective at managing project expectations and managing escalations of high-sensitivity issues
• Exceptional organizational, communication and prioritization skills
• A team player who can work collaboratively and create strong relationships with a wide variety of people at all levels across the company; calm under pressure with empathy and humility
