Rural Resources Community Action is looking for an Employment Coordinator for our Employment and training department. This position is a Hybrid full-time (40 hours per week) with benefits and based out of Davenport, WA. As an Employment Coordinator, you will independently provide the entire range of complex employment and job training services and manage an assigned caseload. In conjunction with determining eligibility for programs, you will identify and analyze employment barriers and develop individual written employment plans while guiding, monitoring, and motivating participants.
This position will involve heavy travel throughout Lincoln County which will require a valid driver's license in state of residence, and auto insurance in the amount required by the State of Washington.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, work independently to execute assigned programs including evaluation of the case management work related to the assigned programs. The qualities we are looking for include the ability to recruit, engage, and interview participants, communicate effectively, work in a team-based environment, perform skilled computer/internet operations, and work with diverse populations. Candidates should have knowledge of community-based human services principles, modern business practices, and all available Rural Resources and WorkSource programs and services.
Salary & Benefit information
The hiring range for this role is $21.65-23.42 per hour. The full salary range of $21.65-36.06 per hour represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience & qualifications. After the successful completion of our six-month training period, you will receive a 4% step increase. As a regular employee, you may receive an additional 4% step increase on your annual anniversary with RRCA. To apply for this position, you would need Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of employment and training work experience or five years work experience in employment and training. Or any combination of related education and experience in employment and training equivalent to five years which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job.
