The Employee Onboarding Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of new employees across regions. Under the direction of the Senior Risk and Compliance Manager, Data Center, the Employee Onboarding Coordinator for Iron Mountain Data Centers (IMDC) will develop, implement, and maintain remote orientation and onboarding programs that ensure a world-class experience for new employees. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented approach to coordinating the end-to-end onboarding process for frontline employees, fostering a positive experience and enabling them to contribute effectively to the company's success.

The Employee Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for supporting timely execution and completion of a seamless workflow for each new frontline employee. They will maintain strong communication and coordinate logistics for new employees including workspace setup, IT equipment, and access to necessary systems. The Employee Onboarding Coordinator will lead Week One orientations as well as organize and act as facilitator for the IMDC DEI New Hire Cohorts. They will connect employees with appropriate resources, support, and referrals to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience moving into the initial months of employment. This role will support a global frontline team so flexibility with scheduling will be required.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and deliver a global IMDC frontline Employee Onboarding program, facilitating a sense of inclusion and belonging for all employees, inclusive of: candidate communications from offer to Day One, ordering IT equipment, coordinating IT profiles and troubleshooting, ordering Welcome Kits and delivering new hire orientations across a globally distributed team.

Recommends new approaches, modifications or changes that will improve the experience, efficiency and/or effectiveness, incorporating feedback from partners and new hires.

Acts as evangelist for IMDC culture.

Coordinate and facilitate the IMDC DEI New Hire Cohort sessions.

Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Partner with IMDC training team to support development and participation in IMDC new hire training programs.

Liaise with local partners to address regional needs while maintaining global consistency.

Act as SME to direct employees on how to resolve onboarding-related problems, provide appropriate referrals to other service areas and escalate issues as needed.

Offboarding program support as needed.

Analyze and report on on/offboarding metrics within IMDC.

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

2+-years of experience using critical thinking and independent decision making

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to individuals or groups. Strong listening skills.

Positive attitude, ability to take initiative and build productive relationships with all levels of employees and candidates within a multicultural environment. Able to recognize when to jump in when others need help.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work productively under pressure, with attention to detail under tight deadlines.

Must be able to work flexible hours to support onboarding orientations and DEI new hire cohorts.

Is able to balance the need to be flexible to get things done whilst having the integrity required to ensure Iron Mountain complies with rules, regulations, directives, processes and procedures (both internal and external).

Strong customer service mindset and driven to find resolution.

Ability to work in a fast-growing, high energy, and organizationally complex environment, and react to frequent change in a positive manner.

Ability to adapt to different cultures and work in a diverse, global environment.

Working knowledge/familiarity with Google Workspace tools including: Slides, Sheets, Docs, etc.

Familiarity with using HRIS platforms (Workday preferred)

Fluent in English. Bilingual or multilingual preferred.

Basic understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment laws preferred.
