Job description

Departmental Preferences:

  • Previous Human Resources experience preferred
  • Previous exposure to Union environments preferred

Responsible for providing administrative and technical support to assigned department(s).

  • Support divisional projects to include preparing materials, collecting data, performing analysis, conferring with stakeholders, tracking progress, and disseminating results.
  • Perform general administrative duties to include ordering supplies, travel arrangements, expense reports, and preparing and tracking annual budgets and vendor contracts.
  • Research problems in assigned area, evaluate possible corrective actions and recommend a solution for implementation.
  • Compile and analyze data to produce routine and non-routine reports, presentations, letters, communications and graphics.
  • Create and maintain divisional intranet and SharePoint sites to include department sites and sites created to support corporate initiatives; instruct others on how to access and update SharePoint materials.
  • Support corporate-wide and divisional meetings and corporate trainings.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders by answering questions, supplying information, training and other technical support to include developing presentation slides and room set-up.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required. Two (2) years of college is preferred.
  • One (1) year of related experience is required.
  • Previous experience with creating and maintaining SharePoint sites is preferred.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with internal and external customers and all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient organization skills with the ability to handle multiple project and timelines.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills including the ability to develop outlines, prepare reports and compose business communications from outlines and notes.
  • Ability to make decisions within scope of responsibility where operational guidelines or procedures are non-existent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
