Job Description:
UPS Technology M&A and Global R&D group is seeking an Emerging Technology Manager to join our team and lead the strategy, design and implementation of innovative solutions for UPS Enterprise. As the Emerging Technology Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology landscape. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and integrating cutting-edge technologies that can provide us with a competitive edge.
Your work will directly contribute to the strategic direction of our R&D efforts, ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve in areas such as Robotics & Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Web3 Technologies, IOT/Sensor Solutions. This role will have direct exposure to senior leadership. The ideal candidate must be able to present and communicate upward and take direction from senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field, or PHD in the field of focus
8+ years of experience
5+ years of experience managing and leading a team
Extensive experience with AI, Machine Learning, IOT
