Emergency Services Manager -Restoration

Aresco of Tidewater, LLC, a full-service restoration company located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is looking to hire a Hands On full-time Mitigation Manager to join its emergency disaster restoration team. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage our mitigation crews.

• Manage our mitigation jobs to ensure prompt response, timely communication and quick turnaround times and job completion.

• Manage our insurance program jobs and relationships.

*Familiar with all Insurance carrier third party administrators Proficient in industry estimating and scheduling programs and processes such as Xactimate

• Position Minimum Requirements:**

• HSD/GED; Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not a requirement.

• Hands on familiarity with insurance program software (Alacrity, Contractor Connection, etc.) estimating, duties and responsibilities.

• IICRC (preferably journeyman) current certifications in water, mold, carpet cleaning, smoke\odor, fire including contents cleaning and inventory, and trauma.

• EPA Lead Certified RRP

• 3+ years of experience (residential and commercial) in water extraction and structural drying, mold remediation, fire, smoke and odor control and mitigation.

• 3+ years of experience managing a team of mitigation technicians and multiple mitigation jobs at once.

• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism and the ability to work effectively with homeowners, agents, adjustors associated with disaster restoration

• Proficient in MS Office products.

• Great organizational, analytical, attention to detail, time and personnel management skills.

• Ability to respond quickly to a changing environment.

• On call required after hours

• Willingness to be flexible and take on new assignments as directed.
