Emergency Room Registrar

We are seeking an Emergency Room Registrar for an immediate full-time, 40-hour position to work 7am – 7pm primarily weekdays, some weekends may be needed. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and as an in integral part of our hospital, you will play a key role in efficiently managing patient information and ensuring a smooth registration process.

Duties:

· Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.

· Collect and verify patient information, such as personal and insurance information.

· Enter data into the electronic health record hospital management system.

· Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient admissions.

· Answer inquiries and provide information about hospital services and policies.

Experience:

· 1-year experience in a hospital or medically related environment preferred.

· intermediate knowledge of computers and Microsoft Word.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED required.
