Responsibilities:Provides routine and Emergency Medical care, extrication, and transportation of ill and injured persons. Assists Paramedic with patient assessment and the delivery of appropriate medical treatment. Maintains equipment, vehicles, and stations in sanitary and working order.
Qualifications:Completion of EMT Program or Advanced EMT Program.
Licensure / Certification
Must have and maintain a current Oklahoma EMT, Advanced EMT, or Intermediate EMT (I85) License
Must be at least 21 years of age in order to be insured by NRH carrier.
Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Must remain insurable by the NRHS/EMSStat vehicle insurance company by maintaining a good driving record and meeting any other requirement as set forth in the policy
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
